Every Grand Prix weekend drivers are judged on their performance in the Formula 1 Power Rankings. However, they will not be judged on their final ranking, but on their actions on the track during the weekend.
Formula 1 Power Rankings
In the Power Rankings of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Formula1.com we see Pierre Gasly in first place. He dropped out in the early stages of the race, but his performance so far, with fourth place in both practice and qualifying, was impressive enough for a 9.3.
Gasly is followed by Daniel Ricciardo in second place, with a 9.2. Ricciardo took his second podium in a row for Renault after Max Verstappen's retirement.
Max Verstappen completes the top three: He gets a 9.0 for his performance. He was also unable to finish the race due to an unexpected tyre blowout. Until then, he was on course for second place after an impressive overtake on Valtteri Bottas.
Fourth is Sergio Perez, who was in third place until Racing Point decided to bring him in for a pit stop in a Safety Car. Lewis Hamilton is in fifth place. He was able to win the race despite missing the pole position and a weaker start. There was a bit of luck involved, however, when there was a very short Virtual Safety Car at the exact time Hamilton made his pit stop.
