Pierre Gasly in F1
Pierre Gasly has 1 Formula 1 career win throughout his Formula 1 career, which he achieved with the F1 team Scuderia AlphaTauri Honda during the 2020 season at the Italian Grand Prix. Before he made it into Formula 1, he won two championships. One is in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 series and the other in the GP2 series.
In 2013, Pierre Gasly joined the Red Bull Racing Junior team. In 2015, he served as the official Red Bull Racing reserve driver, which he continued during the 2016 and 2017 F1 seasons. While being a reserve and test driver for Red Bull Racing, Gasly won the 2016 GP2 series with Prema Racing. In 2017, Gasly joined the Formula E series for one year with Renault e.dams. Gasly also made his first official Formula 1 appearance with Toro Rosso in 2017. In 2018, he became a full-time driver for Toro Rosso.
In 2019, Pierre Gasly was promoted to Red Bull Racing to partner beside Max Verstappen after Daniel Ricciardo left the latter for Renault. Unfortunately, Gasly’s promotion was short-lived, as he only raced with Red Bull Racing for 12 races before being demoted back down to their junior team. Gasly then spent the rest of the 2019 season and the 2020-2022 seasons at Toro Rosso/ AlphaTauri Honda. In 2023, Gasly left AlphaTauri Honda for Alpine, whom he still currently races for.

In Pierre Gasly’s first season with Alpine, he ended the driver's championship standings in 11th place with 62 points. His highest finish of the 2023 season was P3, which he achieved at the Dutch Grand Prix.
Pierre Gasly ended the 2024 driver's championship standings in 10th place with 42 points. His highest finish was P3 which he achieved at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Gasly will continue to race with Alpine until at least the end of the 2026 season.
