Coming Sunday is already the last edition of the official virtual Formula 1 race. The Grand Prix of Canada is scheduled, but with five Formula 1 drivers, the organisation will be handing in three prominent people compared to the last two races.

In the past races in Monaco and Azerbaijan, there were eight Formula 1 drivers at the start of each virtual race, but that is not the case this time. The peak of eight races remains the highlight, because for the last race in the series in which mainly George Russell managed to impress, there will only be five real races.

Few Formula 1 drivers

At the start of the race championship leader Russell appears as expected. However, his big competitor Charles Leclerc is not at the start so nothing stands in the way of a title anymore. Valtteri Bottas returns after a week's absence and Alexander Albon, Pierre Gasly and Nicholas Latifi are also back at the start.

Further more debutants can be admired during the race in Canada. Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil, for example, will make his appearance before the team of AlphaTauri and gold medal winner on the skis, Jon Olsson, Albon's teammate at Red Bull Racing. YouTuber Aarava also makes his debut in this series.

The race can be followed live next Sunday on GPblog from 17:00 UTC.
