Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 start time
19 September at 07:19

The Singapore Grand Prix will begin at 13:00 BST on Sunday 22nd September. The Marina Bay Street Circuit will host a dazzling night race with narrow streets which will be a true test for the drivers.

The Singapore Grand Prix is a traditional F1 race weekend, with qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday. It will be the 18th race out of 24 in the 2024 season.

Last year's Singapore Grand Prix provided many suprises, most notably being the only race of the entire season not to be won by a Red Bull car. Carlos Sainz was victorious in his Ferrari while his teammate Charles Leclerc finsihed in fourth. For the Red Bulls, Max Verstappen finsihed in fifth and Sergio Perez in eighth, while the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished in P2 and P7 respectively.

Currently in the 2024 season, McLaren have taken the lead of the Constructor Championship in the most recent race in Azerbaijan. McLaren currently lead with 476 points, followed by Red Bull with 456 and Ferrari in third with 425. Amid a recent run of poor form this season, it will be interesting to see if Red Bull struggle once again at Singapore and how the championship will be affected. It's all to play for.
