The Formula 1 season continues this coming weekend with a Grand Prix in Imola. Once again, all eyes are on Ferrari that positively surprised in the opening phase of the season. Mattia Binotto is mainly trying to remain calm under the current circumstances.
It's been a while since Ferrari was battling for the lead in the world championship. With a 34-point lead over George Russell, front-runner Charles Leclerc has some breathing room during the races for now and can afford to make a mistake during the season.

However, Binotto knows that Ferrari needs to stay ahead of the competition and is therefore working hard to fix the problems with the car. Whereas Helmut Marko announced this week that Red Bull will bring an update in Italy, Ferrari wants to focus mainly on the existing parts on the car.
"We prefer to work on our known problems, for example the problem with porpoising. That has had quite an impact on our performance of late," Binotto stated in conversation with Auto, Motor und Sport. "We will only come up with bigger upgrades later in the season." Carlos Sainz occupies third place in the world championship after three races with 33 points.
