Leclerc on differences with Hamilton: 'Same driving style, but dress code?'
Charles Leclerc has noticed both great similarities and differences between himself and Lewis Hamilton. The Monegasque says the driving style of both Ferrari drivers is pretty similar, but there is also a big difference between the two: their style of dress.
Leclerc pinpoints biggest difference with Hamilton
"Something I noticed we have a very similar driving style," Leclerc began in conversation with selected media, including GPblog. According to the 27-year-old driver from Monaco, that could be a big advantage for the Scuderia, as it means both drivers will try to take the car in a similar direction in terms of development.
"We will need similar things from the car at least. This is my initial feeling," Leclerc added. "It's still to be confirmed because we haven't driven that much together. But the little I've seen is that we tend to drive quite, quite similarly."
So what is the biggest difference between the two Ferrari drivers? "The things we do differently, probably the dress code. We dress very, very differently," concludes the eight-time Grand Prix winner. " But, to each their own way of expressing themselves in fashion. And, yeah, obviously Lewis is super involved in that. I'm a bit less involved in that. Maybe in that we are different," Leclerc said.
