Max Verstappen won his fourth world title this season but did so in a less dominant fashion than in 2023. Therefore, he's managed to save himself a decent amount lot of cash when he pays for his licence in 2025.

In 2023, Max Verstappen won the world title with 575 points. This season, he did so with 437. Every year, F1 drivers have to pay again for a super licence to drive in the pinnacle of motorsport. The better you do, the more you pay.

This is how much Verstappen will have to pay:

The price for this super licence is directly linked to the number of points a driver achieved in the previous season. So, Verstappen will save a lot of money compared to last year. Still, his super licence fee remains the most expensive of all 20 drivers on the grid.

Speedcafe has learned the amounts for 2025. €11,453 is the base for all drivers, and on top of that comes €2,313 per point scored. For Verstappen, this would mean that the amount for his super licence is just over €1 million. His super licence for 2024 cost around €1.3 million.
