New update on Norris: "Going to get new X-ray"

Lando Norris experienced a pretty heavy crash at the start of Q3 in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver managed to climb out of his car but went to the FIA medical centre at the circuit for checks. Andreas Seidl has an update in the meantime.
The McLaren team boss revealed to Austrian television station ORF that there have now been talks with Norris. "We had contact with Lando when he was at the medical centre," he said.

Circumstances are that the world championship number three is doing well. "The main thing is that he is basically fine and also in a reasonably good mood again. Nevertheless, he is now going to have a new X-ray. He held his arm a bit after he got out of the car. Just to make sure everything is OK."
Norris ultimately failed to set a time in Q3, meaning he will start tenth on Sunday. However, there is a very real possibility that a whole new chassis will be needed. In that case, Norris will probably have to start from the pit lane.
