Hamilton after disappointing qualifying: 'Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow...'

In the last few races, Lewis Hamilton has managed to take the lead in the championship. He wants to hold on to that lead in Belgium, which he did not manage to do in qualifying. The Brit even ended up on P3 behind fellow countryman George Russell!
"It's been a very difficult day for everyone. I'm just trying to stay positive, focused and calm. Congratulations to Max, he did a great lap at the end. My own first lap was very good, but during my second I struggled a bit. And of course, George did a great job as well, that was fantastic," Hamilton said at the end of qualifying.
More chances on Sunday?
"If it's the same weather tomorrow then it's going to be very difficult. You have to find a balance between speed on the straights and downforce in the middle. I think we found the best balance possible, but it might not have been the right setup for today. We will see tomorrow how good the balance is. I'm very grateful to the team for staying cool during this session and tomorrow is another day. Hopefully with better weather too, especially for the fans."
"I don't know exactly what happened to Valtteri. It's unfortunate because we now have two Red Bulls that are just far apart from each other. That will make it more difficult with the strategy because of course, Valtteri has his penalty as well. We will do everything we can. Hopefully, it's not as crazy as it is now, but changing weather can be nice," the Brit concluded.
