With the announcement of the Miami Grand Prix, the United States will have two races on American soil next season. The popularity of Formula 1 is growing and with that the interest of possible American sponsors.
American sponsors
The growing interest of American companies in Formula 1 is especially noticeable at Red Bull Racing. Having previously entered into partnerships with Oracle and Walmart, the team has now also signed a deal with Cash App. The company specializes in crypto currencies like Bitcoin and has been brought in to Red Bull as an official Financial Education Partner.
Christian Horner is delighted with the new sponsor. "Since its inception, Red Bull Racing has been a disruptor by challenging the status quo in Formula 1 and pushing the technological boundaries to build the fastest F1 car possible. Cash App has a similar motto. Therefore, we are delighted that this will be our newest partner," the team boss said in a press release.
The Cash App logo can already be seen on the cars of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez from Monaco onwards.
