F1 Social Stint | Mercedes out for film day in Bahrain
- GPblog.com
The new Formula One season is almost upon us and that means drivers and teams are busy preparing for this year's start. GPblog's F1 Social Stint finds out what drivers and teams are doing in preparation for the new season.
Mercedes out for film day in Bahrain
Mercedes did not have the best winter test in Bahrain, but it still has a second chance. The German team, unlike all others, had not planned a filming day before the winter test but after it. Mercedes was criticised for this when they had gearbox problems during the first day of testing, but the extra kilometres will come in handy after all.

This trick by Tsunoda explains fast lap times
Yuki Tsunoda impressed on Sunday afternoon with fast lap times during the winter test in Bahrain, but rumours that Tsunoda would make more use of DRS are proving true. This photo shows the Japanese driver already having his DRS open before the detection point. A nice touch for the Japanese, but during a race weekend it will not be allowed.
