'Red Bull has some things they don't tell anyone'

Just a few days to go and then the new Formula 1 season really kicks off with the three test days in Bahrain. Will we really see the new cars for this season, because at Red Bull they are very secretive.
Secrecy at Red Bull
At Sky Sports F1 the commentators are looking forward to the upcoming season and they are very curious what Red Bull is hiding. After the shakedown at Silverstone the Austrian team didn't share any images of the RB16B, but the press had to make do with some studio shots. The question is what is Red Bull so keen to keep hidden?
"They have a new gearbox for 2021 which they have kept very secret," Karun Chandhok told us. "In fact, everything they've revealed from their launch was from an old car - so they've been super secretive, more than usual. There's something about the rear end and the new gearbox they have, so I'm waiting to see if that delivers", says the former Formula One driver.
Success depends on Honda engine
Ted Kravitz agrees with Chandhok. "I think Karun is right that Red Bull has some things they are not telling anyone," he said. Still, Kravitz is more curious about the new Honda engine. "They've brought forward all the good things they were planning for 2022 to this year's engine, because obviously Honda won't be around in 2022. This is their swan song season. They have some good things on the engine. Let's see what that does."
Red Bull very strong
Martin Brundle also has high hopes for Max Verstappen's team. " I think Red Bull are going to be very strong," said the Sky commentator. "If they start straight away and live up to their potential - which they haven't done very often - then I think Red Bull will be incredibly fast."
