Horner: "It would not make sense to swap drivers again"

After the Tuscany Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing have announced that the team wants to continue with Alexander Albon. According to Red Bull, the young Thai has shown enough progress in the last few races.
Focus on Albon
Christian Horner praised Pierre Gasly who has had a fantastic season so far with his first win as the icing on the cake, but insisted Red Bull's focus is on its current drivers. "Pierre has done a fantastic job. But we are focused on Alex Albon. We want to give him the best chance to keep his seat," Horner told Sky Sports F1.
"We have some problems with the car we are working on. And I don't think it would make sense to swap drivers again."
The British team boss says that the final decision will be made later this year, but that they are not going to try to change the situation.
Driver pool
For Sergio Perez and Nico Hülkenberg, the door is almost closed by Horner. "Our priority is Alex. It is part of my job to know what other options are available. If the pool runs out, of course, we will have to look outside." For the time being, however, it seems that junior Yuki Tsunoda has a better chance of getting a seat at AlphaTauri and Albon will stay with Red Bull.
