Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen are seen as the top drivers of the future. However, as a driver you are dependent on your equipment and Mark Webber wonders how long Leclerc will continue to accept that Ferrari is not good enough.
In the beginning of your career it is not so bad if the car can't compete for the world title yet, but the moment you as a driver can compete for the world title, you should be able to do so. The frustration of Max Verstappen has visibly increased in recent years and according to Webber it is also starting to appear with Leclerc.
Leclerc finished with Ferrari in the long run?
''Watch out for Charles Leclerc. I am very interested in him and am curious what he will be doing at Ferrari in the coming years. It's still fun at the beginning, but in 24 months we might be in the situation that Leclerc will be finished with Ferrari," says the Australian to Channel 4.
Webber points to the pressure to drive for Ferrari and the expectation of winning every year. ''It's a very difficult task to drive for Ferrari, but he could just be a bull's-eye for the team," concludes Webber.
