After Pierre Gasly's victory, there are already many people calling for his return to Red Bull Racing. There replacement Alexander Albon is a bit dissapointing and with a victory in his pocket Gasly is perhaps the best replacement?

In 2019 Gasly already got the chance at Red Bull, but after six months that adventure was over. The Frenchman lost himself in the dates of Verstappen and slipped further and further within the team. Red Bull then chose Albon, but where he struggled to score good points, Gasly has since achieved second place and now even victory.

No return for Gasly?

A return to Red Bull Racing therefore seems obvious, but Formula 1 expert, Joe Saward, says he doesn't think this is wise. ''I wouldn't go back to Red Bull if I were him. Whether you like Verstappen or not, he's just super special and Gasly shouldn't want to be wrong about that'', says Saward at the podcast Missed Apex.

''Anyone who duels with Verstappen gets into trouble. We're also going to see a big result from him soon, because he's getting closer and closer. Gasly now shows the speed he's always had, but he's a bit unstable. You also saw that in Monza, where he doesn't know what to do with himself after the victory'', concludes Saward.
