Honda is happy with Verstappen and Albon: "Not a bad qualifying for us"

Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix has provided a pretty strong starting position for Red Bull Racing. Engine manufacturer Honda is happy with the performance of the main team and that of AlphaTauri.
With a fraction of a second difference, Valtteri Bottas managed to keep the RB16 of Max Verstappen behind him at Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday. The Dutchman will do everything in his power to attack the Finn and his teammate during the race on Sunday.
Honda sees a good starting position for the team, especially considering the results achieved in the past. "Certainly not a bad qualifying for our teams, especially Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and Max, who is only 0.015 seconds behind the second-placed driver. Alexander Albon also had a good afternoon and will join his teammate on the grid tomorrow," said Toyoharu Tanabe on Honda's Twitter account.
Keeping an eye on the weather forecast
"AlphaTauri's drivers have done a good job in the free practice sessions and in Q1. We were hoping that they would make it to Q3, but they just missed the top 10 except for a fraction of a second. However, 11th and 12th gives them the benefit of a free tire choice, so that's a positive result," continued Honda's top man.
"Today was the last day we could use a special mode in qualifying as the rules change next weekend in Monza. Our day went smoothly and tomorrow all four cars with a Honda engine have the potential to score points. We may see 'Spa weather' before the race and we are ready for all weather conditions," concluded the Japanese.
