Albon is in line with Verstappen: "Max and I are saying the same things"

Alexander Albon has qualified for the Belgian Grand Prix in fifth place. The British Thai still had to yield five tenths on team mate Max Verstappen, but it had been a while since the 24-year-old rider was allowed to sit on the third row of the grid. The Red Bull Racing driver is pleased with the improvements to the RB16 and says it won't be easy to overtake Daniel Ricciardo on Sunday.
"It is an improvement. Max and I, we say the same things, feedback wise we identify the same areas to adjust." Albon said in an online press release from Red Bull. "I think Max tried some stuff in FP1, it felt good for him. I tried it in FP2 and was happy with it too/"
Red Bull is making progress
he fact that Albon and Verstappen are thinking the same way about the 2020 car helps a lot to find more performance. "We have a tendency to figure things out pretty quickly out during the season". In addition, the number six in the world championship states that everyone on the track and at the factory in Milton Keynes is working hard to find the balance that Red Bull drivers are looking for.
Albon starts on the soft tyre and that is a slight disadvantage for him. "We can go for one-stop or two-stop, depends on what we like the most. All the tyres here aren't too bad. We will see how it goes. I think the main thing is that Renaults are fast on the straights with low downforce, so it's not easy to overtake. I remember from last year, it wasn't easy to overtake.”
