McLaren again announces new collaboration, this time for the fans

McLaren came out this week with the news that they will once again be working with the iconic Gulf. Only one day later they announce another collaboration. This time with Iqoniq, a company that will help the British race team with the 'fan engagement'.
On the Wednesday leading up to the first race at Silverstone, McLaren announces that their Formula 1 team is partnering with Iqoniq. The company will help the race stable to build a larger fan base worldwide. This weekend the name of the company will already be on the helmets of the mechanics.
Satisfaction at McLaren
Marketing Director of McLaren Mark Waller is looking forward to the collaboration: "Like McLaren, Iqoniq is passionate about fans' involvement with our brand and Formula 1. With this partnership it is possible to make even more contact with our fans in a uniquely innovative way".
A multi-year deal has been signed and an app will be launched for McLaren fans. The app will be released later this year.
