Charles Leclerc was called for a meeting with the stewards. There the Monegask was told that he will get a grid penalty of three places for the Grand Prix of Steiermark tomorrow.

During Q2 in the wet qualification on Saturday afternoon Charles Leclerc blocked Daniil Kvyat's AlphaTauri. As a result, the Russian could no longer try to reach Q3. For that action Charles Leclerc will get a grid penalty of three places, Ferrari says.

The Monegask will thus start the Steiermark Grand Prix in fourteenth place. For the other incident investigated by the stewards, crossing the control line during the red flag in Q1, Leclerc will receive no penalty. Sergio Perez was also acquitted of ignoring yellow flags during qualifying.
