Many problems for Mercedes
The problems, which also hit Williams, have given those in Brackley and important task ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. The team must significantly improve the reliability of the new engine for the season opener in Melbourne in two weeks.
"I think we have had a good winter test. But it hasn't been perfect. We have discovered that there are still enough problems that we need to resolve. I don't know how long we'll be working on it before all this has been remedied, but it's never a bad thing to discover things like this during testing," Hamilton said.
Performance of the W11
"Furthermore, I think our performance has been pretty good in terms of the number of laps we have driven, apart from yesterday," says Hamilton. "I have no idea where we stand compared to others, the team will probably have a better idea of that."
