Button expects change in team dynamic at Ferrari
In 2019 Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc clashed as frustration grew at Ferrari, but Jenson Button expects the pair to put their differences aside next season to focus on battling Mercedes.
Vettel started the season as number one at Ferrari but as Charles Leclerc found his feat at the constructor questions were asked as to who their number one was. Tensions grew and it all culminated in their collision at Interlagos, ending both their races.
Button hopes the pair can put aside their differences and see each other as teammates rather than rivals.
"They had a few incidents in 2019, hopefully, this year that won't be the case. They are both very quick," Button told Sky Sports News.
"I think last year they were both trying to find their position in the team.
"The new guy coming in, Charles Leclerc, and getting more pole positions than anyone, and Sebastian Vettel, the four-time world champion.
"Two very talented drivers and I think after that first year together now they can really work as a team and focus on fighting Mercedes, not just fighting each other."
