"On China, Formula E was cancelled and they're about three weeks before us and they cancelled last week so I will very much hope that we go to China. In fact, after this, I'm going to the China embassy for my biometric scan, so at the moment everything seems like we are going to China.
"Not going to China will be a shame. Last year, we had full grandstands and it was sold out. China has become a very important market in terms of fan followership with great fan activities around the fans. Not going there wouldn't be good for us or the fans but of course, the health comes first. I hope they get in control of that," Wolff added.
Previously, bosses were trying to swap the Russian and the Chinese Grands Prix around but the Russian Grand Prix organisers ruled this out. Rescheduling the event will be extremely difficult with a record number of races on the schedule.
From this interview, we can gather that there are currently no plans to cancel the race.
