As Pirelli continue to test and make preparations for the introduction of their 18-inch tyres in 2021 they will host a test at the Jerez circuit. It has been confirmed that Charles Leclerc will represent Ferrari on the 8th and 9th February.

Pirelli had expressed a desire for more experienced drivers to take part in the test which marks another step in the tyre provider's development for 2021. Although Vettel would be the obvious option given his wealth of experience the Monegasque will take to the track in Spain.

During the two-day test there will be a day with 18-inch tires and a day with 13-inch tires, Motorsport.com says. Ferrari and Pirelli will hope they can get enough data that can then be used to improve the tyres.

There will be more tests throughout the season including one in Abu Dhabi.
