Hamilton: "Charles is number 1" at Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton says that there is an "interesting dynamic" at Ferrari with Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc vying for dominance at the team, with just nine points between the two as the calendar enters its final four races.
Leclerc is ahead in the championship, despite it only being his debut season for Ferrari and second in F1, having secured two victories, includng a win in front of the Tifosi at Monza.
Replying to a question from Bild Am Sonntag, the championship leader said: “I’m on the outside so I don’t know, but from a distance they seem to have a very interesting dynamic.
“It looks as though Charles is taking over as number 1 now. Is that good for a team? I don’t think so. But they have always had that philosophy. We have a different approach that works well for us."
