Lewis Hamilton: "There are three teams that can all win the Japanese Grand Prix"
Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to the Japanese Grand Prix and hopes that the racing will be competitive at the top end of the grid. Ferrari have been fast recently but Mercedes got back to winning ways last time out in Russia. Red Bull won't be far behind and will be wanting to impress at Honda's home Grand Prix.
"Suzuka is simply amazing and one of the most exciting races of the year," Hamilton told Motorsport-total.com. "There are three strong, fast teams that will do their utmost here and have the chance to win.
"This is a real driver's circuit and one of the best courses on the calendar. Here the run-off zones still consist of grass and gravel and not of asphalt, which is the ultimate test for man and machine."
With the current weather forecast, it could be a wet weekend and this could make the race even more exciting with the top drivers really having to prove themselves in the tricky conditions.
