Mattia Binotto: "Everything has to be right" for Ferrari to win in Japan
Ferrari have had the fastest car since the summer break and will hope to continue this impressive record at the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend. However, team boss Mattia Binotto is cautious about being too optimistic.
“Our level was good in Sochi and enabled us to take pole position for the fourth time in a row, but to be at the front again in Japan, everything has to be right. This is how we approach this race, we just try to get all available speed out of the car. If we succeed, we buy to be just as competitive as in the previous races," Binotto said.
Ferrari should excel at the Japanese Grand Prix as the circuit suits their car. There is a similar high-speed element to Spa and Monza, where Ferrari have arguably performed their best so far this season.
