What is the weather forecast for the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix?
Another night race awaits in Qatar, with a Sprint also included. The teams on the grid face a different challenge —for some, it will be for the better, for the worse. In terms of the entire weekend, it will be roughly 5-10 Celsius degrees warmer at the Losail International Circuit than it was in Las Vegas, Nevada.
According to Weather.com, the temperature will be 21 degrees Celsius at the start of the Sprint on Saturday. Qualifying will get underway later, at 21:00 local time. For that session, Qatar will be a single degree Celsius colder. Conditions will be similar, but the wind will be 5 km/h quieter for the latter. No rain is predicted for the Sprint, and there is a 1% chance of raining later on.
Humidity will be higher in Qatar overnight; however, no rain is expected this weekend. With a clear sky, the Grand Prix will begin at 19:00 local time. It is expected to be around 20 degrees celsius with winds up to 15 MPH.
