It's been a difficult day for Lance Stroll. After the Canadian's big crash in qualifying, his team managed to rebuild his car. Stroll beached his car in the gravel on the formation lap, which meant there was an abandoned start. It created a huge amount of confusion among drivers up and down the grid, but the start was eventually delayed. The race will restart at 12:47 local time.

Stroll seemed to lock his brakes and went spinning off the circuit, damaging his front wing. The Canadian, who pirouetted on the tarmac, ended up in the gravel. The start was then abandoned, and teams were allowed to tend to their cars on the grid once again. The start was delayed by 10 minutes.
