A report suggests Lewis Hamilton will sponsor himself when he joins Ferrari for the 2025 Formula 1 season. The exact amounts are not known (obviously), but Lewis Hamilton will certainly earn more than a decent salary at his new team over the upcoming two seasons.

The Italian team has nothing to complain about because of its name and fame, and finding sponsors to pay (part of) the British former champion's salary should not be a problem. There is even said to be a new person knocking on the door to sponsor Ferrari and Hamilton. His name? Lewis Hamilton.

In August, Pernod Richard, one of the largest wine and beverage companies in the world, acquired a minority stake in Lewis Hamilton's non-alcoholic agave brand Almave. The idea was for Pernod Richard to become Almave's global distributor.

Hamilton's Tequila brand to sponsor Ferrari?

Moreover, the French company's knowledge and experience would be used to introduce new brands under the Almave banner. What does all this have to do with Ferrari? Reportedly, Almave - thanks to input from Pernod Richard, who already sponsors Ferrari - will become one of the sponsors of the Italian racing team next season, thus including Lewis Hamilton in its ranks. At least, that is what F1 journalist Joe Saward reports in his newsletter.

In a roundabout way, Lewis Hamilton will sponsor himself in his new F1 adventure after he leaves Mercedes.
