Remarkable! Red Bull give competition another look at their floor
- Ludo van Denderen
After Sergio Perez's crash in Monaco, there was irritation at Red Bull Racing. In the narrow streets of the mini-state, the Mexican's car was towed away, giving everyone an excellent view of the RB19's ingenious floor. All the world champion's competitors meticulously inspected the pictures for days.
Whether the photos shot in Austin on Wednesday will attract as much attention remains to be seen. However, the underside of Max Verstappen and Perez's F1 car was clearly visible, as the car was delivered by helicopter to the city where the US Grand Prix will be held on Sunday. Chances are that the Adrian Newey-designed car did not contain the crucial parts that secured their second consecutive constructors' championship.

Special livery in Austin
This was a stunt like Red Bull has done many over the years. This time, the occasion was the unveiling of the RB19's special livery as designed by Franco Cavallone, a graphic designer from Argentina. He had entered a competition run by the Austrian team to design the car's livery for the US GP for Red Bull. Previously, Red Bull drove in Miami with special livery; this will also happen in Las Vegas later this year.
