Verstappen and Perez will drive with this unique Red Bull livery in America
Red Bull Racing has unveiled the unique livery they will use during the 2023 United States Grand Prix. Franco Cavallone won the prize and will see his design shine in Austin this weekend.
The 2023 Formula One season has three Grands Prix in America. The first this season was in Miami. This weekend, F1 visits Texas, and the penultimate GP of the season is in Las Vegas. These three races in America have been used by Red Bull to give fans something unique to do. Fans could send in unique designs, and the winner's design would actually be used.
For the GP at the Circuit of the Americas, Max Verstappen will drive with Cavallone's design, which visibly took its inspiration from the American flag. The graphic designer from Argentina is logically very proud that his design will be displayed this weekend.

How Red Bull's livery came about
"The moment I was told I’d won it was a rollercoaster of emotions, I was so happy. I remember when I first found out about Make Your Mark, I was watching the second practice session at the Miami GP – it was the first time I’d been to a race – and I found out the Oracle Red Bull Racing livery was designed by a fan from Argentina, like me. When I got back to my hotel, I researched the competition and signed up to The Paddock and started designing my livery for Austin there and then," said the 39-year-old designer.
Christian Horner also spoke out about the new RB19 livery: "It’s really exciting to see this unique, fan led competition come to life and coincide with the growth of Formula One and our supporters in the US. I think Franco has done an excellent job, and the car looks incredible," said the Red Bull Racing team boss, also looking ahead to the race weekend in Austin.
"Our hunger for winning continues for the remainder of the season, so hopefully, this livery will be as winning as Martina’s in Miami, which saw Max and Checo finish on the top two steps of the podium," the Brit concluded.
