Full results of FP2 Saudi Arabia | Verstappen is once again unbeatable

Max Verstappen already won the first free practice ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and in the second practice session too, no one was faster than the Dutch Red Bull Racing driver. Sergio Perez was once again a long way behind his teammate, while the Mercedes and Ferrari are leaving a lot of time behind. Fernando Alonso, on the other hand, is again in an excellent position.
Verstappen recorded a 1:29.603, making him fourteen thousandths faster than his fastest lap of VT1. Fernando Alonso was a bit closer in the second free practice, but two tenths is still a big gap. Sergio Perez conceded three tenths to his teammate.
Alpine seems to have got it right as Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly are in an excellent position with fourth and sixth. They are split by George Russell. Lewis Hamilton got no further than P11, while Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz occupy spots nine and 10.
Behind them, all teams were close together. Nyck de Vries recorded a seventeenth time, conceding two tenths to Yuki Tsunoda. This certainly does not leave him out of the running for a place in Q2 during qualifying. The slowest time of the session was set by Valtteri Bottas, who left almost one and a half seconds behind Verstappen.
