Valtteri Bottas has never made it a secret that he likes other forms of racing too. The Finn has already competed in a rally and recently he also won his first race on a bike. A new challenge awaits him in early 2023.

Remarkably only for the first time, Bottas will compete in the Race of Champions in January, a big event held on a track on snow and ice in Sweden. During the event, Bottas will form a team with none other than two-time F1 champion Mika Hakkinen.

Vettel also there

Bottas is not the only driver from the current Formula 1 field to start in Sweden at the end of January. Like last season, Sebastian Vettel will also be there. Who will be his teammate is still unknown. Last season he competed with Mick Schumacher at his side.

On the first day, a mini-WC will take place, while individual races are scheduled on the second day. On both days, World Rally stars Petter and Oliver Solberg will also be in action. They will try to prolong their title. Also present is Extreme E champion Johan Kristoffersson. The rest of the field of participants will be announced soon.
