Chip Ganassi wants to bring Bottas to IndyCars

Valtteri Bottas is in a luxurious position. With Audi's deal with his current team Alfa Romeo (Sauber), the Finn may find himself with a team that could seriously grow into a race winner. Should Bottas still want something else when his multi-year contract with the Swiss team expires, he could certainly end up in another racing series: IndyCar.
While in Austin for the US Grand Prix last week, Bottas spoke to US broadcaster NBC. That channel televises the IndyCar series in the US. There, the Finn explained that he has been thinking about a future in the United States, but currently feels he wants to be active in Formula 1 for several more years.
Thought about it
"I have (thought about it), actually," he explained on the channel. “I still definitely have a few more years in F1, no doubt; I still feel like I have things to give for this sport; but eventually… I have thought about it." According to Bottas, IndyCar is an interesting series that he doesn't have to think about joining at the moment, but he will eventually have to think about such opportunity. “For me, it seems like it’s a pretty cool series; the race tracks, they are nice; the racing seems really real; probably from my understanding, a little bit less politics than F1; and it seems like it’s been gaining popularity recently, at least in Europe."
Bottas' words were heard Chip Ganassi, who runs a successful IndyCar team. Ganassi immediately sent a Tweet into the world: "Give him my cell number."
