Steiner enjoyed Canadian qualification: 'We have no secret'

Haas F1 started the 2022 season strongly, but has not scored a point since Imola. Despite going five races without a point, Guenther Steiner says the car is 'pretty good'.
Strong qualifying from Haas
In Canada, there was a sign of hope when Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher were allowed to start from scratch in fifth and sixth places after a very good qualifying session in the rain. However, the points are distributed on Sunday, and unfortunately for Haas, the team finished without a point. Magnussen encountered Lewis Hamilton early in the race and suffered damage to his car that forced him to come in for a new nose. Schumacher crashed out with engine problems.
Despite the disappointing Sunday, Steiner looks back on Canada with satisfaction. "I would say the car in general is pretty good," says the Italian team boss on the Website of the American team. "The car goes pretty well, and we’ve got two good drivers, so I don’t think we have any big secret about the car going quick in the wet."
Difficult weekend ahead
At Silverstone, Steiner expects a more difficult weekend. According to the team boss the VF-22 is actually less fast on the high speed circuits. Silverstone is one of the faster tracks of the year with many high speed corners.
