An unexpected problem that all Formula 1 teams ran into during the first winter test in Barcelona was porpoising. The violent bouncing of the cars is not exactly comfortable for the drivers, according to Charles Leclerc.

The 24-year-old Monegasque, at whose Ferrari the problem was quite prominent, experienced physical discomfort from it. He compares it to sustained turbulence in a plane and says it even made him nauseous.

Leclerc got nauseous from porpoising

A video showed Leclerc's Ferrari F1-75 bouncing violently up and down, shaking the driver's head considerably. "I can't say it's pleasant, because it makes you a little nauseous," said the Ferrari driver according to F1only.fr.

However, Leclerc is confident that the problem will be fixed soon. This was confirmed by several teams, who stated that the problem is expected to be history within a few races.
