Marko expects two major competitors in the new season

Red Bull Racing had a fierce battle with Mercedes for the world title last season. While Helmut Marko expects the German racing stable to make things difficult for Red Bull again, he thinks one more team will enter the fray.
Due to the new regulations, the Formula 1 teams have the opportunity to make considerable strides in the world championship this season. Mercedes and Red Bull are working hard behind the scenes to stay ahead of the competition, but Marko realises that this will not be easy. According to the Red Bull advisor, Ferrari will catch up.
The Italian racing team experienced a low point in motor racing in 2020, but was able to rejoice more often last calendar year. During the test days in Barcelona, it appeared that Ferrari has again made great strides and therefore has a real chance of performing well in Formula 1 in 2022.
Marko expects a lot from Ferrari
In conversation with the German RTL Marko tells that he is keeping a close eye on Ferrari's developments. He expresses the expectation that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz may just do well in the new season. Whether that is enough for the world title, will become clear in the new racing year.
