Alexander Albon was on track for a podium finish but was taken off the track for the second time in his career by Lewis Hamilton. The stewards gave Hamilton a 5-second penalty for his action, but Albon did not get his podium back.
A visibly disillusioned Albon explains once again to Sky's reporters how he saw the race ahead of him. The Thai driver knew he had no chance of victory, but when he heard from the team that both Mercedes were having problems with sensors he wanted to go for it.
