Verstappen: "I think we lost our way after Q2"

It was not a smooth qualifying session for Max Verstappen. At the beginning of Q2, the Dutchman complained about problems with his engine and the spark plugs had to be replaced at a rapid pace.
Not a strong qualifying session
“It was not a very good qualifying. I only did two laps in Q1 and then you want to get out and do the fast lap in Q2, but then you have those problems. It did not provide a good reference for Q3. The first lap in Q3 I didn't have much grip either. The second lap run was a bit better, but it remained difficult," says Verstappen after qualifying.
“But at the end of the day, P3 isn't bad. I expected we could have attacked them more. I think we lost our way after Q2," the Red Bull Racing driver continues.
Beautiful circuit
“The track is very cool. It's a lot of fun to drive. I thought the track would be a bit too narrow for these cars, but everything is not too bad," the Dutchman concludes.
