Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB), Red Bull Racing's junior team, will be spending three days, 21, 22, and 23 January, at the Imola circuit. They will be preparing for the start of the 2025 season, which starts in only 54 days. While at the circuit, the Faenza-based will be completing a TPC (testing a previous car). This means that the drivers will drive an old car.

The test allows the drivers to hop back in a car before the beginning of the season and get back into the swing of things. However, a TPC will only use the team's old cars, not their new car. During their TPC, Yuki Tsunoda, Isack Hadjar and Ayumu Iwasa will drive the AT04, the 2023 car, at the circuit that hosts the Emilia-Romagna GP.

New TPC testing rules in Formula 1

Before the start of the 2025 season, the TPC rules were modified. Last year, many teams completed TPC testing. However, now, the FIA has decided to set a limit on how many kilometres a team can drive. The limit is 1,000 kilometres per driver. Each driver will take a specific day. Tsnuoda will drive on Tuesday, Hadjar will go on Wednesday and Iwasa will conclude the testing on Thursday.

Regarding their newest car, the Racing Bulls will take to Imola again for a filming day. They have confirmed to GPBlog that they will run their brand-new 2025 Formula 1 season car at the track ahead of the pre-season testing event in Bahrain.

On 18 February, all teams' livery will be unveiled in front of tens of thousands of Formula 1 fans at the O2 Arena in London.
