Helmut Marko says he is "curious" about whether Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will "have great harmony" together when the pair up at Ferrari next year. The seven-time world champion will make the huge move to the Scuderia from Mercedes, joining the man from Monaco.

It has been a busy week for the external advisor at Red Bull Racing, with lots of celebrations in order after Max Verstappen sealed his fourth consecutive world title at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. At the same race, Mercedes were able to take a superb one-two.

George Russell won in Las Vegas, ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton, who moved up the grid well after starting in P10. No one could match Mercedes' speed in Las Vegas, which could make the 2025 season even more surprising. However, Marko told OE24 that the German team "needs to become more consistent" if they want to compete next year.

"In Las Vegas, there were special conditions because of the low temperatures. Let's wait and see if they perform in the last two races, which I don't expect. Hopefully, we can win at least one more race," Marko told the Austrian medium.

'Russell more dominant than Hamilton'

Those two Grands Prix will be Hamilton's last at Mercedes before he switches to Ferrari. Marko wonders how the collaboration between the former world champion and his new teammate will go. "Russell was already more dominant this year than Hamilton. In terms of drivers, Ferrari will be stronger next year, although I am curious to see if they are going to have great harmony within the team."
