Lewis Hamilton believes that Max Verstappen is closer than ever to winning championships. While Hamilton has seven and Verstappen only four, he doesn't see the Red Bull Racing driver slowing down anytime soon.

Lewis Hamilton will make the movie to Ferrari in 2025. As Red Bull struggles with the RB20, the Italian team seems to have the faster car. This may give Hamilton an advantage. However, he doesn't think that way. He thinks "they will be hard to beat next year because they probably started earlier than everyone else developing next year's car as well".

Hamilton admires Verstappen

Working his way up to second from tenth, Hamilton put on a spectacular drive at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. However, with Verstappen earning his fourth World Drivers' Championship, all eyes were on him, including Hamilton's. Hamilton has watched Verstappen this entire season with admiration, as Verstappen has not had the fastest car for most of the 2024 season.

"He's done a fantastic job, he's not made any mistakes and he's delivered every time and every point he was supposed to, and him and his team have done the best job again, fourth year in a row. Definitely got exciting at one point."

Hamilton ended his statement with, "Yeah, really happy for him".
