Red Bull can forget F1 constructors' title, Ferrari catches up with McLaren

Ferrari managed to narrow the gap to McLaren in the constructors' championship in Las Vegas. Still, Ferrari did not score as many points as hoped due to Mercedes' good performance in Las Vegas. See the constructors' championship standings below!

Mercedes were nearly perfect in Las Vegas, and scored the most points as a result. They only missed out on the additional point for the fastest lap of the race. The purple timer was next to Hamilton's name for a long time, but Lando Norris pitted during the final laps for softs. In terms of the battle for the title, Ferrari managed to score 27 points, while McLaren picked up 15 in total. The gap between the two teams stands at 24 points as a result.

Red Bull Racing scored a total of 11 points in Las Vegas, and now trail their Woking-based rivals by 53. As a result, the Austrians would need a miracle to earn another title this season. Mercedes for now are certain to finish in fourth position.

In the battle for sixth place, Haas could score the most points in the US, as Nico Hulkenberg finished in P8. VCARB could also earn two points, thanks to Yuki Tsunoda crossing the finish line in ninth position. As a result, Haas could overtake Alpine. At the moment, only four points these three teams ahead of the final two weekends of the season.
