Why Pirelli had to fly in emergency F1 trophies for the United States GP

The podium finishers at the United States Grand Prix were due to lift unique trophies, but Pirelli was forced to make a last-minute change due to a possible copyright infringement. Therefore, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and Max Verstappen received alternative trophies for their efforts in Austin. Leclerc lifted a more traditional style trophy, while Sainz and Verstappen received miniature tyres.
On Tuesday, Pirelli unveiled the set of special trophies for the United States Grand Prix. Rather than a traditional trophy, three figures were produced. These went by the name 'Heroo', and were designed by Matteo Macchiavelli. The figures were human-like and they were holding their hands in the air. Each trophy was a different colour. The winner was due to get a gold version, the second place was due to get a silver version, and the third place was due to get a titanium version.
Why did the drivers not get the 'Heroo' Pirelli trophies?
Pirelli confirmed to GPblog that they - with the race promoter in conjunction with the FIA - had decided to drop the trophies. The Italian company was made aware of a potential copyright infringement on Saturday and were unable to investigate it fully. They flew in the tyre trophies from their offices in the United States. These alternative versions were handed out to the top three drivers.
It seems that the 'Heroo' look similar to some of the sculptures on sale by Bearbrick.
