There it is: Red Bull Racing' s update for the United States Grand Prix. These adjustments should help Max Verstappen clinch the championship. In recent races, Lando Norris has been catching up with the Dutchman, but Verstappen is hoping to have a go at a fourth world title in a row with these updates.

The FIA have announced the updates for the United States Grand Prix, with Red Bull bringing a package that will hopefully see them close the gap to McLaren in the constructors' championship, as well as give Max Verstappen a car to challenge Lando Norris and clinch his fourth world championship. But McLaren have also brought a package to the Circuit of The Americas for the sprint weekend, with Mercedes also bringing some changes to Austin, Texas.

Red Bull Racing updates

Red Bull's long-announced updates have been shown just hours before the first and only free practice session of the weekend, with adjustments made to the RB20, according to the FIA document. Changes have been made to the floor and the RB20's sidepod, with the adjustment to the floor being a more general update, whereas the adjustment to the sidepod is a more circuit-specific change for this weekend.

McLaren and Mercedes also make some changes

While Ferrari did not bring any updates to the sprint weekend at COTA, McLaren and Mercedes did make some adjustments, with McLaren hoping these changes keep Red Bull behind them. McLaren mainly adjusted things at the front and rear of the car, with their front wing being changed so it now has a new geometry. See bown below the full extent of McLaren's changes, as well as Mercedes' updates too.

Rest of the upgrades bought to the United States Grand Prix

Aston Martin has also brought a substantial update package to Austin, with six updates coming into force for the Lawrence Stroll-owned team. In the battle for P6 in the constructors championship, and at their home Grand Prix, Haas have made seven adjustments to their car, while VCARB have only made changes to their floor. For Williams, they have brought no updates to Austin.
