It is an eternal debate in Formula 1: Who is the greatest of all time? Some F1 purists will say, Ayrton Senna. Others might think Lewis Hamilton. No doubt there are also those who see Max Verstappen as the best driver ever. Ralf Schumacher - perhaps somewhat biased - thinks his brother Michael Schumacher is the so-called GOAT.

Like Hamilton, Schumacher won seven world titles. The German won 91 races, whereas Hamilton has secured 105 wins. Still, Ralf Schumacher believes his brother's achievements are second to none. "Even Lewis Hamilton will never get there. Not for light years, in my opinion," Schumacher stated during an interview with Formel1.de.

'Hamilton cannot walk on water'

Ralf Schumacher believes Verstappen can surpass Hamilton's talent. "We thought Lewis Hamilton could walk on water. That doesn't work. We thought Max Verstappen could walk on water. Although in my opinion he could actually go further than Lewis Hamilton in terms of talent. That's true. He makes an even bigger difference."

Ralf argues that Schumacher and Verstappen can be compared. "[Michael] made the difference, as Verstappen is doing at the moment." Although the younger Schumacher also believes Michael was with the right team at the right time, in this case Ferrari, which dominated Formula 1 between 2000 and 2004. Ultimately, Michael celebrated the greatest successes with the Italian team, where Hamilton achieved most of his success with Mercedes.
