Lando Norris will remain connected to McLaren in the coming years. The two parties announced Wednesday morning that they have signed a multi-year deal, so the Briton will stay at McLaren at least until 2023.
Norris relieved after new deal
In a new video from McLaren, Norris tells his story about the contract award. In 2017, the adventure began for the Brit, who was then included in McLaren's junior programme. Zak Brown, in particular, has been a big supporter of Norris' arrival, who along with Carlos Sainz brought the team back to the front of the midfield.
For Norris, the contract extension is a good moment. The Brit had made a good start to the 2021 Formula One season, and his contract was due to expire at the end of this year. However, now that he has signed a multi-year deal, he can focus on racing, and not have to worry about his contract anymore.
