Vasseur not angry with Leclerc: 'He was pushing'
- GPblog.com
For the second time this weekend, Charles Leclerc had to make his way back to the pit lane by scooter. In the closing stages of qualifying, the Monegasque once again slid off the track to end up in the tyre pile the same corner he did on Friday as well. Team boss Frederic Vasseur remained seemingly all calm about it.
Asked by Viaplay about what happened to Leclerc, the Frenchman shrugged slightly, laughed, and responded with a short answer. "What happened that he was pushing and when you are on the limit, you are on the limit. I think he did a very good stint with the first set. He had a contact with the wall, he gave up and for sure, that last one was, was special," Vasseur said.
