After Ferrari unveiled the SF-23 on Valentine's Day, today it is Mercedes' turn to pull the curtain off the W14. This makes the German racing stable the second-to-last Formula 1 team to show its car for the 2023 season to the world. The online event can be followed via the livestream.

The successor to the problematic W13 will be unveiled in the presence of Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff, George Russell and brand-new reserve driver Mick Schumacher. Like Ferrari, Mercedes has chosen to send the car onto the track immediately after the presentation. Whereas Ferrari did so at its own private track Fiorano, the W14 will take to the track at SIlverstone.
With the W14, Mercedes hopes to have a more successful season than it did in 2022 with the W13. That car was plagued by one problem after another, but suffered most from porpoising. With the floor changes made by the FIA for the new season, the team expects to be completely rid of those problems.
