In a new video from Mobil 1 The Grid, Max Verstappen has discussed his best races of 2021 and, of course, the title battle with Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen has never won as many races in one season as in 2021, and he has never been so close to the world title in Formula 1. Now only eight points ahead of Hamilton and with just two races to go, there is still plenty to play for. Verstappen has taken a look back at this season, but also on the title fight with Mercedes.

Chance of world title for Verstappen

''I've had a few good races (in 2021). Winning in Monaco, winning twice in Austria was very cool and winning in the Netherlands during your home race. Those are obviously the things you want to achieve'', said the Dutchman about his best races of the 2021 Formula One season.

The Red Bull driver also elaborated on the title fight with the seven-time world champion. ' 'I think it's good for Formula 1, but I'm mainly focused on my own performance and try to finish ahead of my rival every weekend,'' the 24-year-old Limburger concluded.
